Dr. Kolar was recently inducted into the “American College of Dentistry” (ACD). The ACD is “the oldest major honorary organization for dentists.” It is nonprofit and apolitical, and is often referred to as the “conscience of dentistry,” because its main goal is to practice and promote high levels of ethics, as well as continuing education for dentists. Fellowship is by “invitation only” and a candidate’s nomination undergoes a review process before he/she is invited to join. Only 2-3% of American dentists are invited for membership/Fellowship.
